How to Process Firearm Orders and Range Passes in OtterOrder

When a disposition is created in FastBound, OtterOrder automatically generates a corresponding order for the 4473 — no manual entry needed.

The auto-generated order includes:

• A price carried over from FastBound
• A FastBound tag on the order
• A note indicating that line items are controlled by an external system

Important: The firearm line item cannot be removed from the order. Because it originates from FastBound, it is locked for compliance purposes.

Adding Items to the Order

Staff can still add non-firearm items to the same order. Examples include:

• Transfer fees (if applicable)
• Ammunition
• Any other non-firearm products

All non-firearm sales — ammo, accessories, payment collections, etc. — can be handled directly within OtterOrder.

Completing the Transaction

1. Wait for the 4473 to be completed in FastBound.
2. Once complete, the order will be tagged “4473 Completed.”
3. Click the tag to send the customer a message letting them know to come back and pay.
4. Collect payment to finalize the order.
