Step 4: Add your products

The Products screen is where you manage the items you sell—names, pricing, availability, and how they appear across your kiosk, POS and online storefront.

You can access it from the left-hand menu under Catalog → Products.

At the top of the page there’s a search bar, and below you’ll see a table showing each product’s name, category, price and whether it’s currently in stock. From here you can toggle availability or open a product to edit it. There’s also an option to Import from a file if you’re loading many products at once, and Add Product to create a single new item.

Creating a new product

When you click Add Product, you’re taken to the Create New Product screen.

At the top you define the basic information:

  • Product name and description
  • Category (for example, Drinks or Food)
  • Product type (e.g. Food or Beverage vs Merchandise)
  • Status (Active or inactive)

There’s also an option to collect sales tax for the product if required.

Availability

The Availability section lets you control where this product can be sold:

  • Kiosk
  • POS
  • Storefront
  • Table/QR

You can turn each channel on or off independently, which gives you flexibility if some items should only be in-store or only online.

Pricing & inventory

Further down the page you configure pricing and inventory for the default variant.

You can set:

  • SKU code
  • Price and optional compare-at or discount price
  • Cost, profit and margin (if you want to track those fields)
  • Whether the product’s stock is tracked in inventory

The Type field lets you mark the item as a regular sale item, a refund item, or another special type depending on how you use your catalog.

For food and beverage items, additional options such as spice level and allergens can be set so that downstream menus and receipts show accurate information.

Once everything is configured, saving the product adds it to your catalog and returns you to the Products list, where it appears alongside your other items ready to be sold across your selected channels.
